Eligibility: Low income residents of upstate New York who need legal representation in state appellate courts, but cannot afford to hire an appellate attorney and are not eligible for assigned counsel
Application Process: Referral from agency or attorney required; Must fill out Appeals Program application form, available online at www.nysba.org/probonoappeals
Required Documentation: Note of appeal and pre-calendar statement, order or decision being appealed, appellant's brief (if filed)
